About Us

Michele S. Williams, LLC is the brainchild of Michele Salters Williams. With over 25 years of experience as a nonprofit and government executive in our nation’s capitol, Michele is able to provide key support to organizations staff and their leaders.

Michele S. Williams

Michele S. Williams has over twenty-five years of expertise in leading human service organizations in delivering services to communities. Michele is an expert in program development and implementation, as well as Continuum of Care Management. In her career, Michele has led the transition of the Homeless Service System from shelter-focused to housing-focused and successfully integrated the Coordinated Intake Center for families within D.C.’s Public Benefit System.

Michele’s passion is in crisis management and solutions, increasing capacity for organizations, understanding the intersection of housing and homelessness, and building the skills and confidence of staff who serve. As a HUD Technical Assistance provider, she is a member of the Disaster Technical Assistance Team and Racial Equity Advisory Council.

Michele is a Standards for Excellence® Licensed Consultant who holds a B.S.W in Social Work, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Administration from Western Michigan University, and a Nonprofit Certification from Cornell University. Michele is also an alumnus of the Masters Series for Distinguished Leaders in Washington, D.C.
